At
Sher-Mi Labradors, we feel it is very important that the right puppy be
matched up with the right family. All puppies are temperament/aptitude
tested and their structure graded and they are adopted into their new
select homes according to what their new families are wanting them for and
what their expectations are. Puppies do not leave Sher-Mi Labradors before
the age of 8 weeks. All puppies are microchipped,
vaccinated and wormed, healthy and very well socialized. Their eyes are
checked by a board certified ophthalmologist (ACVO).
Not only is it important to know that the eyes are cleared on the parents
but very important on the puppies as well. Puppies are introduced to
birds, wings and water when weather allows it. All our puppies leave
with Puppy Packets that contain your contract and warranty papers,
pictures of the parents, their pedigree and health clearances, puppy's
pertinent papers, health record, as well as helpful information to help
you get off to the right start with your puppy. All Sher-Mi pet puppies
are sold with an AKC
Limited Registration. This is just one way that the
AKC and good breeders can fight against overpopulation and irresponsible
breeding.
Once you've completed your homework on the Labrador Retriever and decided
that it's the right breed for you and that you desire one from Sher-Mi Labradors, reservations are advised as litters are generally spoken for well in advance with deposits. Deposits are non-refundable. If there isn't a puppy in a current litter for you, your deposit will roll over to a future litter.
