LABRADORS, is a registered kennel with the AKC, as well as being recognized as a Breeder Of Merit. We are dedicated to the betterment of the Labrador Retriever through high ethical standards of excellence in selective breeding,
exhibiting and preserving the breed's natural retrieving abilities and
keen love of water.

We are a small but successful kennel, breeding only a few litters each
year. We pride ourselves in producing quality.
Our Labradors are first and foremost beloved family companions who
possess the temperaments that make them a joy to live with and
work with as therapy dogs.

Our Labradors have the beauty, style and conformation to compete in the
show ring. The soundness, intelligence and trainability to be good
hunting companions, obedience competitors and working service dogs.
Our dogs themselves, as well as their ancestors, have earned numerous titles in many venues.

Our Labradors are OFA certified for
hips, elbows, and eyes are ACVO and CERF annually.
All our dogs are OptiGen Clear or Clear by parentage for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy).
They do not possess or carry genetically this PRA gene.
EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse) No puppy produced by Sher-Mi will ever be afflicted with this genetic disorder.

The difference between a purebred and a well–bred purebred can be summed up in two words: Responsible breeders. Simply put, they are the key to a healthy dog, one bred to the highest standards. Their hard work and dedication help preserve the health, temperament and quality of every breed. Responsible breeders serve as canine ambassadors. Responsible breeders care. They make sure to use genetic screening tools and only use proven sound dogs in their breeding program.
We hope you enjoy your visit and we invite your inquiries regarding our
puppies and our boys who are standing at stud. We also occasionally have
older basic trained puppies and young adults available.
The late great breeder, handler and judge,
Percy Roberts wrote,
